An alternate universe where Adam Fox is a Hurricane? That changes everything.
The butterfly effect is the concept that outcomes are dependent on earlier conditions and that if any of those conditions were affected in any way, it would change the end result. It’s also an Ashton Kutcher movie where he keeps going back in time to make Fulton Reed from the Mighty Ducks go through hell, but D and Lauren handle the pop culture stuff, so I’ll let you find that one out on your own.
Anyway, every sports fan likes to look back at certain events and think about the “what if” scenarios involving their favorite team, whether it be a trade that wasn’t made or a player who should have been drafted over another or even a free agent that a team never should have signed. Since we’re still three more days away from Canes hockey starting back up again, it might be fun to see how one change would have affected the franchise going forward.
