The Canes have problems, and Rod Brind'Amour needs to right the ship.

It’s time to have a grown up talk about the Carolina Hurricanes.
Last night’s game, by most any measure, was a trainwreck. 4 goals allowed on 18 shots, which would seem like classic Carolina hockey if they put up 40+ shots on the other side, but they were lucky to put twenty on Sam Montembeault. The Canes actually got 44 unblocked shots off, but most were low danger shots and more than half never even threatened the Canadiens goaltender to have to put a pad or glove on it.
Bad bounces ending up getting past Freddy Andersen while the best the Canes could do was to ring the posts a few times. The ghosts of Bill Peters and Kirk Muller were pleased watching this one.
