The draft is coming up, and you know the Canes aren't making their 1st round pick.
The 2025 NHL Draft takes place this Friday and Saturday, with Friday being an incredibly drawn out first round with Gary Bettman milking the boos like Buddy Landell at Dorton Arena in 1985 while still somehow looking like the snitch kid from Recess all grown up. You’ll sit through 10 minutes of “the pick is in” while we get interviews and analysis of whatever pick an Original Six team made or is going to make, but we’ll cut to commercial when Carolina goes on the clock.
