You’re right. Let’s… not. Instead, just to humor me. Assume that several months ago I wrote something flowery and positive about our second favorite Canes Finnish center. Paired with Martin Necas, who had a rocket attached to him at the time, any player was going to look that much better. But on the other side was Jack Roslovic or even Eric Robinson so I think it almost kind of balanced out. Regardless, I think we saw what we wanted to see with Jesperi Kotkaniemi - a competent middle six center who would play a 200 foot game, backchecking while dishing assists to his higher production goalscorers.
