The Hurricanes are going to be a roller coaster ride of emotions this year, with the amount of familiar faces leaving the organization and media anticipating a team that will struggle for a wild card spot instead of contending for a President’s Trophy leading to a fanbase that’s going to be talked off the ledge countless times this season. That was exemplified this week after only two games, as a seemingly listless Canes team got outplayed by a Tampa team which had just been uprooted by a natural disaster, then gave the fanbase the happy feels with a dominating performance against a New Jersey team that already had four wins on the season.
