There are 8 players angling for two spots and one of them better be Sam Gagner.
We are nine days away from Opening Night and very little has been settled. While other teams are making cuts, the Hurricanes camp roster looks the same as it did day 1, though there hasn’t been any real pressing need yet as the team doesn’t have any Canadian junior players needing to return (their seasons have already started), and Wolves camp only opened yesterday, so there’s no real reason to make cuts… yet.
