Holy shit it's time for actual hockey
Delayed newsletter today because yesterday was a game night, but not just any game night - Opening Night™. A legitimate near perfect day for tailgating with temps in the 60s and sunshine, the Canes capped it off with a 6-3 win over the New Jersey Devils in one of those games that makes people hockey fans. A back-and-forth affair with the Devils seemingly having an answer for every Hurricanes goal until a Seth Jarvis tip off of a Sebastian Aho one-timer in front of Devils goalie Jacob Markstrom with 2:43 remaining in the third gave the Canes the lead for good.
