Workrate Hockey - September 12, 2025
A group of gentlemen wearing Carolina Hurricanes gear skated together but not as the Hurricanes, please don't tell anyone that it was the Hurricanes.
Tuesday, Canes fans desperate for anything actually hockey-related got a little treat as the Canes Instagram account posted on their story several quick videos, first showing the team skating at Invisalign Arena, then after asking those following who they wanted to see, several more posts of individual players skating captioned by the requests. It was all harmless and good and a big nothingburger, but it made people happy because it meant we were that much closer to Canes hockey.
And then, shortly after I made a joke about squinting to see helmet numbers to see who was there and who might have a new number (hi Tyson Jost), it... disappeared.
