The world is crumbling around us, but at least the boys are back for training camp
It's finally here - training camp has officially opened, with no new surprises walking through the door. I had speculated that the Canes didn't release their training camp roster because maybe they still had a PTO offer to a player or two and waited until the afternoon to see if he'd walk though the door for a physical, and when he didn't, that officially shut the door. But that's purely speculation and nothing that I can prove, though I could say it's true and mention "my sources", but that only goes so far.
Obviously, there isn't that much to talk about on the first day of on-ice camp. No one got hurt, no one showed up out of shape (at least that I know of), and it's a little too early for infighting and turmoil. But here's what I've got:
