The Carolina Hurricanes, in an effort to constantly make me look dumb (I can do that perfectly well myself, guys), announced Monday morning that they had signed forward Kevin Labanc to a professional tryout contract. On Wednesday, I said this:
The Canes fulfill a league obligation and make season ticket holders pay full price for it. Plus, heads are going to be uglier, and the Canes ghost an in-arena host.
The world is crumbling around us, but at least the boys are back for training camp
The Baby Canes played actual hockey this weekend. It wasn't great, but that's OK.
