Just circling players in the Sears Wish Book and hoping Tulsky knows about the shipping deadlines.
The Canes managed to pull one out against a very strong Washington Capitals team last night, winning 3-2 in a shootout. Nik Ehlers got a goal and an assist, bringing him to 21 points in his last 25 games, which is pretty good - I think if the Canes can get to close to a point per game production out of Ehlers, they'll be plenty happy with their investment. Logan Stankoven had two points as well, including the game tying goal with the net empty (see, it works sometimes!), which is sure to help his mental state, as he's been goalless in his last 14 games, with only three assists during that time.
