The OK Corral had less shootouts than the Canes have had recently.
Is it weird to have three straight games end in shootouts? It seems weird.
What's weirder about the last three Canes games, outside of all three of them being won in the shootout, is that the team got there in three different ways - the Canes tying it up late in the third with the extra attacker (technically), with Logan Stankoven burying one with a little over 2 minutes left, a traditional roll into overtime in Philadelphia with both team tied in the third period for all but 23 seconds, then the Canes giving up one with Flyers skating with the extra attacker as Trevor Zegras tied it at two on Sunday afternoon.
