I was reading Matt Somma's excellent Substack post about the last ten years of Canes drafts and 1) oh lawd its a biggun (and that's coming from me, who Pat Clarke in the Section 328 days used to say a post from me under 2000 words was a "a short one"), and 2) it's a great read if you're into the whole prospect thing. It brought back some memories of random guys who we would get excited for despite them not being all that good (hi Julien Gauthier!) I highly recommend it, as well at Matt's entire Substack (as well as the Canes Prospects Substack, which is run by Nick and not Matt but is still great.)
